Mr. Spering is beginning his twenty-fourth year working in public education. In his free time he enjoys playing basketball, and spending time with his family and friends. When the weather is nice, Mr. Spering might be seen walking his dogs.

I believe all students have an inalienable right to an excellent and appropriate public education. I have high expectations for students not only in regard to academics, but also in regard to appropriate and acceptable behavior. Although, I expect excellence, I pride myself in being a good communicator. I feel that the key to a successful institution is mutual respect between students, teachers, parents, and other people in general. I truly believe in our Palisades community of learners. I hope to guide young men and women in my role as Assistant Principal through optimistic decision making which will be clear, concise, fair, and practical.
